I have a system service which I cannot seem to raise process priority on.
The process is running at the system level and I am logged in as admin.
When attempting to raise the process priority (task manager / process /
right mouse-click the process and select set priority) I receive an access
denied error.

Does anyone know why I can't raise priorities on a large number of the
processes running. The process I am concerned about is a 3rd party remote
control service.

Some applications will not allow their priority to be changed. Nothing can
be done in that instance.
