Dont paste screenshots into Word, put them in Paint. Word
will scales them down. So Paste them into Paint, save the
files, then import the picture into Word.

do you have firework or photo ,if so you can paste on them, then you can see
clearly.remeber that if the resolution of your monitor is 800*600 or
1024*768,for example in firework you can do this file\new and in the popup
dialogue adjust the new document as 800pix*600pix or 1024pix*768pix,then
paste the picture on the new document

This can also be done by [PrintScr] > Paste into Windows Paint

It automatically updates the image size.

If you save as PNG, it keeps the resolution and image intact
