View Full Version : xp home shuttign down when loading soft ware.

hi there,

i just purcahsed a pc for my fiance, and had xp home installed on it. when i
got it to our palce and hooked it up and began to load software for wireless
mous eand keyboard xp shut down. as if i hade gone through the start menu to
do a proper shut done. i am thinkign it is either a hardware issue or that
windows didnt load properly? thoughts, ideas, suggestiosn needed?

Yeah... get a spell checker and learn how to capitalize

If the shutdown was "normal", not a hardware reset, then perhaps one of the
installations caused it. Does the machine still work? Did it boot up
normally? Did you get the stuff installed? Perhaps one of the installers
automatically rebooted and perhaps even warned you that it would. I've seen
that in a few things.
