I have a client that had major damage done to his system
by a virus and I had to give up and reinstall a
clean/fresh copy of XP Pro. I copied his personal items
out of the old folders once up but got wind of a private
folder that contains Some company letters and employee
evaluations (He has yet to give out). Or at least when I
pointed it out, he informed me of what was in there...
HELP! How do I get encrypted info (from an old/non-
existant key) back to the gentleman now?
I tried making a log on for me and a certificate to do so
but did something wrong since it doesn't contain
a "Private Key" I gather and won't let me decrypt the
folder when I try...

I just wish we could have gotten it up one more time
before wiping it out to look for items like that. But it
was impossible at the time within the presented time
contrants...
How do I go about decrypting it first to put it back in
his "My Documents", so he can give the employees the
evaluations now?

(Treat me like a two year old today please, it has been a
long last two weeks between him and other clients)

Folders and files that have been made private by an user can only be
unlocked from the same profile. If this user is no longer existent the
data is lost.
