I just bought a 42" LCD flat screen tv. It has an RGB connector to connect
with my computer. I connected the flat screen to my pc and it loads up fine,
i can see windows loading up on the monitor but when I get to the log in
screen the TV blacks out and gives me an invalid format message.

I booted it up in safe mode it worked fine, I changed the resolution to a
resolution compatible with the flat screen. When i rebooted the computer I
get the same message once it reaches the log in screen. I am at a loss as to
why this is happening. Can anyone help?

RGB is going to be a very low resolution, your PC graphics card might not be
able to go that low.

Can you not connect with component, S-Video or composite?
