Hi
Logged on today to find MSN Messenger no longer existed and i had to
upgrade, so i do so but have been unable to open it. Clicking on the Icon
brings as Error Message up which has the heading of MsnMsgr.Exe - Application
Error, it then saye The application failed to initialize properly
(0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application.
Since this happened i tried to run updates as i just thought my computer may
not have been updated enough, i am running a fully updated version of Windows
XP and Windows Internet Explorer 7.0.
Can someone please let me know what the issue with this cause i can't even
figure out how to log this error with Microsoft themselves.
If possible an email would be great to

Thanks
Bec

Greetings Bec,

I assume you're using a Sony Vaio PC and/or have Sony SonicStage installed? If so, this is
the problem.

You can either uninstall SonicStage from Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel or check
sony to see if they have an updated version as I've not heard of this issue in awhile.
