Standby mode and Mouse Driver

When my pc attempts to enter standby mode, a message appears stating that
the mouse driver is preventing the process???? New driver????

Are you saying, "Do I need a new driver", or "I just installed a new
driver?"
If the former, yes.
If the latter, roll back the driver
