DVD movie with extra files will not play

I've been having problems playing copied dvds some will some wont. I replaced
the dvd rw drive with a new one from alienware and the movies seem to play
fine until I tried to watch a new release its a store bought dvd with label.
I put it in and a flash movie trys to play but it locks up. when I look at
the disk contents theres the usual video ts and audio ts folders plus a flash
movie and another folder called "jacket" with files in the folder I have no
idea what there for.

If I strip this disc without the jacket folder and flash movie and back it
up the resluting disk will play fine. whats going on? NOTE: the original disk
plays fine on a TV player and it plays fine on another computer. this is my
stuff: alienware
notebook win xp home sp2. nvidea G force 6000 video card. Optiarc DVD RW

What's your DVD decoding software? Did you try reinstalling it?

Sorry I new I forgot to include something. This notebook came with power DVD
5 and I bought the power DVD 7.0 standard cause I thought it might help with
the problems I was having playing copied movies. But... I did remove it and
installed the power DVD 5 and had the same results with the new release
movie. Iv'e since removed version 5 and reinstalled power dvd 7 I cant
remember if I tried the movie again after going back to version 7.
