sandisk, defrag

i recently got a new computer with windows xp, with my old
windows 95 i could go to start, run, and typed scandisk
and defrag and it would perform the task. when i try it
in xp it gives me a message that it cannot find the file
scandisk. is it no longer possible to perform these tasks
anymore?

You can also do error checking and defrag by right clicking the drive in My
Computer then goto Properties>tools and there ya go.
