View Full Version : Two video picture windows with one sound?

I am planning to produce a film where the same scene is to be seen
simultaeously from two or three perspectives, and to display the film on
a computer screen.

This implies that the user simultaneously sees two or three windows with
the moving picture from different perspectives, and hears one sound.

Is it, for that, necessary to develop a new video file format, or does
one exist which can do that?

Especially interesting is the question whether the Ogg Theora format can
do that, because if Java is installed, the MS Internet Explorer and
other browsers can play Ogg Theora videos, such as the ones from
commons.wikimedia.org.

How can we then achieve, that with the IE (or a free browser such as
Firefox) the user inside a page of a website sees two or three moving
pictures (here: the same scene from two or three perspectives) and hears
one sound?
