Places where I can see all running things and apps installed?

Where are the places I can see all loaded running things and perhaps
turn some off? And where can I see all the installed programs I would
like to print a list of what I find? I have been to accessories/
system tools/ system information but don't find the installed
applications (programs). under applications all I have is my MS office
things not all the other apps. And in the add remove control panel I
can't select all and copy as text.

msconfig will show you what is loaded at start up

ALT-Ctrl-Delete will show you currently running apps on the Applications
page and "hidden" apps and proesses on the Processes page.

Control PanelAdd or Remove Programs will show you what Windows says has
been installed.

Those will SHOW you the info, printing it is a different story. You might
want to check out SIW (System Information for Windows) at...
http://www.gtopala.com/

It will show you TONS of info including installed programs. The lot can be
exported to an HTML file or printed.

Note that there is a paid version and a free "home" version.
