USB Safety Remove will disable and enable devices without rebooting. Windows should have had this utility built in. ;-) http://safelyremove.com/ -- Bill Gateway M465e ('06 era) - OE-QuoteFix v1.19.2 Centrino Core Duo T2400 1.83G - 2GB - Windows XP SP3 |

As XP always powers off the device when disconnected. Vista and Windows 7 doesn't for some stupid reason. Thus USB Safety Remove allows you to do so under Vista and Windows 7 if you want it too. But no need to have this option for XP since that is the only way it works anyway. ;-) -- Bill Gateway M465e ('06 era) - OE-QuoteFix v1.19.2 Centrino Core Duo T2400 1.83G - 2GB - Windows XP SP3 |
