Input the model number of your printer and it will ask
what operating system
you are running. The answer (since you are posting in
the XP newsgroups) is
WindowsXP.

Download and install the software BEFORE connecting the
printer to the PC.

Microsoft only provided the operating system, they did NOT build the PC. If
it's a new PC and you're unhappy with it TAKE IT BACK. It's under
guarantee! You pay for a basic guarantee when you purchase almost anything
electrical. Take advantage of it.

My house is in a state of disrepair - I hate Hotpoint. It's the same thing.
Why are you blaming MS for your problems?! Just like Hotpoint only made my
washing machine, MS only supplied the OS to the OEM.
