O.T. eBay malware/virus?

I've got this twice now when I
clicked my bookmarked link to
logon to eBay

So does eBay have a problem? It's
one of the sites I frequent allot.

Not ebay. I am there often.
My guess is that your comp has a browser high jacker and likely other malware now, too.

Seems OK to me.

(Do you know about Alt-PrtScrn as opposed to just PrtScrn?)

All's well that ends.

As I said to Paul, I run scans on a daily basis
and I detect nothing.

If I actually had a high jacker and malware wouldn't
I see other indications and my computer would start to
mess up?

Well, that's what I thought because I haven't
had any problems with eBay except one where I
was given a refund from 3 transactions that I
had already given feedback but because he did
it that way it still shows those as pending
payment even though I've paid and eBay can do
nothing about it.

(At first I read that as "I run scams on a daily basis"!)

Not necessarily, or at least not before it had done some of its worst.
Well-written malware these days tries _not_ to be visible.

Incidentally, I think a high jacker is something a car repair facility
might have - the usual spelling is as one word, without the "gh " three
characters (-:

Maybe it was just a glitch in the web at that time.
Hard to say if you would notice anything if you did have a hijacker.
Perhaps a slight slowdown.
Might want to scan one time with another malware finder just in case.
If it were my machine I would also run Kaspersky 10 from it's boot disk.
And for J.P.G: LOL! I noticed my miss-spelling after I posted and re-read.
How embarrassing!
