SP2 and Internet Connectivity
After making sure that I was not connected to the internet in any way. I
formatted my hard drive and installed XP Pro on my computer. I installed My Firewall and My antivirus and then I connected to the internet. I at that time was able to cruise around with not problems. I then downloaded SP2 and now I have no internet access. I ran my spybot and my adaware and there was nothing to be found. I then rebooted into safe mode and rean HiJack This and it found nothing either. Does anyone have an idea as to why I lost my internet connectivity as soon as I downloaded and installed SP2? Thanks for your help in Advance Benjie The TS steps I have done so far are. 1) I have searched the microsoft Knowledge base and it only had 1 article which I tried and the was manually configuring the firewall to accept the ICF connection. 2) I disabled the firewall and that still didn't work 3) I shutdown my DSL modem and then the computer and turned the power on the modem then my computer and there is still no connectivity. |
