Transfer wizard
 

What kind of cable did you use to connect the two
computers. I have a pc to pc file transfer serial cable
and I can't get transfer wizard to get the 2 computers to
see each other? Very frustating. Thanks

I used the Files and Transfer Wizard to save my computer
setting from my C
drive and D drive.
C was programs, etc..............
D was all data.
My C drive was saved as an image file with a status file
as well.
I reformatted my computer and reinstalled XP Home and
want to get the
settings on my new computer.
When I select the location either on my networked
computer or where I
tranferred to my documents in the computer I want to
save to I get the
following;
"The location that you specified does not contain stored
information. Please
type avalid folder box into the edit box."

I did it through shared folders with my laptop. Just used the network.
