how do I remove the person activation button prior to Windows loading

I am sole user and administrator on the computer so there is no need for
the sharing button and I want my PC to completely load up while I get my
coffee when I cold boot in the morning. Allow it time to get its ****
together as I get mine together. Especially the antivirus and the
firewall.

This just happened in the last7 updates(so one of them is to blame)
I have WinXP pro. Sp3,Netframework 4
my missing updates were (Kb2492386
kb2632503
kb931125
kbNetframework v1.1
kb982670
kb968930
kb269988
dotnetfx:exe

so question is can I eliminate this selection button so the computer
completely loads up?
If so, how? I know it can be done as my computer had a change in HDD as
the last HDD "clattered" to a stop. So I have had to reload
everything from scratch.

Thanks.

Google "xp auto login", like this:
http://www.google.com/search?q=xp%20auto%20login

There you go.

Right-click My computer, Manage, Local Users and Groups, Users. In the
right window pane is a list of all the users on your computer. Just right-click the
accounts that were added by the Microsoft.net framework update and select delete or disable.
Close the window, reboot, and the "Select User" logon screen will no longer appear.
