Removing Item from Laptop Start Menu

Hello, I am having a problem with my Thinkpad. There is
an IBM Program called IBM Access which is essentially a
link the their web site. They put an icon of this item on
the Start Menu as an icon directly under the run command.
Long story short, when you click on the icon there is no
association with a file so it doesnt open anything. All I
really want to do is get the icon off the start menu, but
when doing a right click there is no option to do so.
Also, when I explored the start menu under \all users, it
wasnt listed there. If anyone has had this problem or has
any suggestions on how to get rid of this I would
appreciate it

You could scan the Registry for the name of that entry and see if you
can find and eliminate it from here. If this does not work, ask IBM
for about how to remove this.

1. Right click the taskbar
2. Click "Properties"
3. Click "Start Menu" Tab
4. Click "Customize"
5. Click "Advanced" Tab
6. In the "Start Menu Items" Box, scroll down, your link will be there.
On my laptop it was called "Manufacturer Link"
7. Untick the box
8. Learn kung fu
