Jo, wipe clean and start over. You should create a slipstreamed WinXP +
SP2 CD. To do that check here http://www.theeldergeek.com/slipstreamed_xpsp2_cd.htm "Jo" wrote in message ... After clean installation I downloaded all updates for XP Pro, including SP2. To be of any help i will actually need a little bit of more information like
the date to which you restored your computer to was that before you installed the sp2 and updates. In any case you may want try and boot your computer into safe mode and check if the problem persists. yogi "Jo" wrote: After clean installation I downloaded all updates for XP Pro, including SP2.
