MultiMedia Keyboard + short cuts

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this question.
If it is not, please let me know.

In the event that it is....

I have a Microsoft MultMedia Keyboard SE.
Some of the buttons are great.
Unfortunately, some of my old keyboard short cuts no longe work.

ALT+F4 no longer closes programs.
More infuriating is that F8 no longer steps into my VBA written macros in
the VB Editor for Excel.


I installed the drivers the keyboard came in with.

I'm running Win XP Pro SP1 with all updates installed.
I have 2 P4 Xeon in my machine.

Any help would be great.
