This means your computer can't get DNS information from whatever device is providing DNS. In a home or small business setup, this is usually a cable/DSL modem and/or a router. In a corporate domain, this is usually a server. If you have a cable/DSL modem, take out the power plug on its back and wait 30 seconds. Plug it back in and see if you have Internet access. If not, call your Internet Service Provider. If you have a cable/DSL modem and a router, unplug the modem and then unplug the router. Wait 30 seconds. Plug in the cable/DSL modem and wait until all the lights are on. Then plug in the router. See if you have Internet access. If not, plug your computer directly into the cable/DSL modem. If you have Internet access, your router is bad. If you don't have Internet access, call your Internet Service Provider. Since you forgot to tell us anything about your computer or your network setup, that's as specific as I can get.
