Movie Maker Timeline doesn't work

Hi,
I have captured video files from my Sony videocam in AVI format. All videos
are visible in the "Collection" window and I can play them without problem.
The problem starts when I drag down a clip to the Timeline. If I push the
PLAY button in the Timeline the clip is shown ONCE. Thereafter I can not play
the clip again in the Timeline... I need to restart the program to be able to
play the clip again. This problem prevents me from using the Movie Maker
program to produce edited video films. What is the problem?

Hi John,

Now it works!!! Thanks!!!
I entered the link you provided and renamed a few .ax files to .ax_
according to the list and now it suddenly works. Don´t understand why or how,
but it doesn´t matter. What matters is that I now can finally make the movies
I have promised my family to do!!!
