Windows 8 question

When I was using Windows 7, if I opened a folder I have containing .mp3 files,
then hilighted one of the files, information about the song appeared at the
bottom of the screen. Song name, the album it was on, play time, I guess it's
called tags? I notice that in Windows 8, it doesn't happen. Is it a setting I
need to change? Thanks.

....

You can set details view in File Explorer to see the information about your
files.

If you let the cursor hover over a selected MP3 you will get a little pop up
window giving you info. It may take a bit for the widow to pop up on the
fitst hover but after that it will be quick.

Of course, you can set Explorer's "view" menu to details and get some - but
not all - of the pop up info. Same for "content" view.

I can't recall exactly but for some reason my memory seems to remember
that the feature in Win7 was how it handled files that were supported as
preview-able content which changed with 8x.
