Win XP mandatory user profile (Need Help!)

As I understand it here you are trying to set group policy settings? Or
local security policy settings? Well doesn't matter check out this MKBA

This article talks about setting Group policy settings in a Workgroup
setting. As I understand it you don't have Active Directory otherwise this
would not be an issue.

I am trying to use the mmc to customize a specific profile
on Windows XP Pro. I'm in a community college setting and
I want to set security by using the mmc for the user's
desktop profile, and not have it flow over to the
administrator's profile. I have read about the possibility
of using mandatory user profiles to do this, but haven't
been able to figure this out yet! Is this possible? Are
there any documents on the Internet that can help or do
you know how to accomplish this task? Any help you could
give me in understanding this would be greatly
appreciated!!

Thank You!!!
