how to sync *just* Google calendar
Just tried syncing my Google calendar to the built in Windows 10 calendar, but then it asked for full permissions (incl. Deleting of everything) to my emails and contacts. Is there a way to only link to the calendar? Or is there another desktop calendar I can use on windows? |

I just use the Google calendar in my Firefox browser. Since I don't do meetings or any of that fancy stuff, it works well for me, and syncs with my Android calendar just fine. |

Since I don't do meetings or any of that fancy stuff, it works well for me, and syncs with my Android calendar just fine. I can sync my gcal without giving excessive permissions on other platforms. |

I use the calendar in Outlook on the PC and Android Synch (not free, sadly) to synch between that and the calendar on my Android devices. It's fairly modular in that you can specify whether you want to synch your calendar, your contacts, your tasklist, etc. - in each case giving the option for full 2-way synch or for one device to over-write the other. -- Cheers, Roger ____________ Please reply to Newsgroup. Although I quite like outlook for work, it's integration with anything outside of MS is non-existent. So for my personal stuff is useless. Plus, I don't have any Android devices. |
