Frame size of 3rd party apps

Since I installed a wide LCD monitor, some (but not all) of my 3rd part
installed software panels appear too small to read comfortably. I'd like
to increase their size without affecting desktop and icons. My FAX Cover
Sheet panel is a good example; there's a lot to fill in and its own
blank areas are too small to type into and read comfortably.

I can now document a glitch (to me a bug) which I reported before but
could not document.

I composed the above message, and when I tried to end it, I got the
following two error panes:

I then saved it in Drafts....Local Folders, and later opened the
message from Draft folder and it Sent with no trouble.

I don't know if I'll have to use the same subterfuge (workaround) with
this one. (Yes I did).
