Printer goes off-line at shutdown

Everytime I shut down my computer, the printer goes off-line. When I
re-boot, I have to reinstall the printer, which then works fine until the
next shutdown.

I read other posts and have verified that all the power management boxes on
all USB ports in Device Manager are already unchecked.

Any other ideas re a fix?

Printer goes off-line at shutdown

A bit late-- but --
Your problem may be that the printer driver is not installing properly, in
that --
The registry entries may be corrupted.
You may not have installed, running as administrator and for all users..
See if there is an uninstaller or cleanup utility provided by the printer
Mfr. (On the Mfrs web site.)
Make sure that you are using the current driver.
You may need to uninstall the printer drivers, disconnect the printer, and
reboot.
Then install the driver package from the Mfrs web site. Reboot.
Connect the printer or when the driver install calls for the printer to be
connected.

When all else fails, a manual edit of the registry may be needed to remove
registry entries for the printer.

Is this by change a multifunction device?
