Frames Freeze at Transition

I have just started using WMV2 and whenever I save a
movie to disk, the playback freezes at transitions and
the credits do not roll correctly. I have WMV 2 and WMP
9 running on a 2.5GHZ Dell with 256Meg RAM. What am I
doing wrong?
