printing issue with Word

Hi, I am having trouble printing from Microsoft Works...my printer is an HP
3100 All in One series and will print anything else but things I have written
with Microsoft works or word processing. In the past it HAS worked so I have
no clue what has happened to stop. For example I typed a resume in Works and
saved it to My Documents. In the past I've been able to print it out. Now I
can't. Blank page. PLEASE please can someone give me some advice. I have
Windows XP.

If you can print from other applications, then the problem doesn't seem
to be either your printer or Windows itself.

Is it Word or Works?

If Word, try asking in microsoft.public.word.docmanagement (aka Word
General Questions)
If Works, try asking in microsoft.public.works.win

Are you using a non-standard font or color? Can you print a simple (no
formatting) document in Word or Works?

Hi Lem, thanks for writing me back. I have Microsoft Works. And it doesn't
matter which font or formatting I do it still won't print. I started typing
something from scratch and tried to print but is blank. I tried printing a
resume that I literally have copies from before, but now when I try to print,
it is blank. I tried going to that site you suggested but it says the server
is busy. This is driving me crazy...I've had this computer for 4 years and
never had a problem printing...now when I really need a copy of something I
saved, I can't print it. I even tried sending it as an attachment to my work
computer. I can open the attachment up, but NOTHING PRINTS. Its really
crazy...

That's not a web site, it's a different Microsoft newsgroup. You should
use a newsreader (e.g., Outlook Express), but if you want to use the
same web interface that you used to post here, go to:

This is the list of MS newsgroups by name (via the web interface):
