web cam compatibility issue
 

Please help if anyone can, just obtained new web cam to converse with contact

but will not show my image on on link with contact, can see contact but all
they see is

a messenger icon on bottom screen with an x highlighting web cam tried turn
it on

but with no effect even though i see my picture in another box.

thanks for the help, does this mean the web cam is not suitable for lap top
