Please killfile me for now until you are able to use the latest
software package.

I've hedged my bets; I have several news readers!

I just killfiled him. Made him happy. His posts are useless
and OT.
PS Be very careful with newsreaders that "render" html. Some
will prefetch DNS and links and are a privacy breach.

What name did you use to put in your kill file? Everything that I've
tried hasn't worked.

The From: field uses a mechanism for carrying wider characters
and so your client would need to be able to handle that kind of value.

You could filter on "news.mixmin.net" :-)

Or, you could wipe over the text shown on screen here, to
have the string carried in-band to your NEWS client killfile screen.

😉 Good Guy 😉 ==== In Notepad, shows as two squares on either
side of the string
I can't tell from here, whether this will show
up or not.

If your NEWS client carries killfile values in some simple
file, maybe you could edit the file by hand and place the
string in that way.

Copied & pasted into my kill file ok.
Thanks Paul.
