PROBLEM SUMMARY:
Commands typed into "start run" were not remembered.

SOLUTION SUMMARY:
Start Settings PC Settings Personalization Start

To turn off start-run memory, turn off "Show most used apps".

This disables the reverse-order fedcba memory in the registry key:
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\RunMRU

Nope, I didn't. Sigs are the place where "smart" lines go to die -- because
of endless repetition, boring the **** outof everyone who sees them more
than a couple of times. As a result I ignore most of them, just as I do
spam.

thats exactly where you should be doing that kind of stuff. Not.

Its already present in the Win10 group, and so that "degagoogle" will
already archive it. Wat good does it do to have *two* copies of it on file
