My 1080 usually runs at 34C for most games and graphics intensive work.
Have never seen it get above 43C.
Fans are set to run from zero rpm to 80% max.
Most of the time they run at 31%.
GPU mem is overclocked 162% to 4300 mhz.
GPU core is overclocked 162% to 1600 mhz.
Power limit set at 110%.
Shutdown set for 70C - has never even come close.
A Seasonic Titanium 850 powers it.

On my system when running a gpu stress test, it gets up to about 130 degrees F.

So that's 54C. That's not too high.

I would not worry too much until it gets to 60C / 140F and stays there for
more than a few seconds.

As it was a stress test, high temps are to be expected.

My normal Gpu temp runs around 85 degrees F.

Just ran the FurMark test.
GPU got up to 62C and leveled off there. Ran it for about 4 min.
Fan speed 100%. Overclocking on. Power upped to 110%.

That furmark puts GPU to serious use. :-)
