Access is Denied
 
Hi i have a slight problem,
i reinstalled the windows XP overwriting the files. there
was already a user id on the previous windows and now XP
is back up and running i cannot access that folder. if i
do get access it won't let me load up a file or even open
some folders with in that user area any suggestions?

Access is Denied
 
You may need to first take ownership of the folder [also selecting
subcontainers/objects] while logged on as an administrator which will give
you the ability to give yourself full control permissions to those files. If
those folders were encrypted with EFS and you did not backup your EFS
private key, you probably will never be able to access those files. See the
