lately,I have to reset the date time on my computer,also when I first start it up,it tells me to press F1 for setup..

So go into the set up and correct the time by using the arrows to get to
the time. Correct it and hit enter for it to stick. Save and exit. Set
up is also known as a BIOS. If you continue to have this problem, your
motherboard needs a new battery.

Most times it's a small battery on the motherboard that has drained. It
maintains the time while the computer is off and saves the BIOS settings.
Usually it's a type CR-202. You can buy them at drug stores and any
place that has a selection of batteries. They are held in place by a clip.
Just be sure before removing the original to note the polarization. There
will be one side that has a fairly large, noticeable + symbol. Be careful
in removing/installing as the clip is somewhat fragile and can break off.

Your CMOS battery on your Motherboard has failed. You need to change it
soon. If you turn the computer off for too long a time, it may
completely scramble CMOS RAM, stopping the computer from booting. No
big deal if that happens, since it's easy to get into the BIOS setting
and reset to defaults, but it can be disconcerting when all of a sudden
the computer just won't boot at all.
