how to put password on folders

You can't using the native operating system. There are third party utilities
that can do that but if you use the NTFS file system you can use NTFS
folder/file permissions to manage access to folders based on user or groups
with the understanding that any user that is or can become an administrator
can access any files that are not encrypted for access only by specific
user. The links below explain more. --- Steve

permissions.

program.
