Two Questions??

) I have defagmented my 3 drives C:WindowsME,
D:WindowsXP, E:WorkDisk with Windows ME and with
WindowsXP. Aside from the fact that ME does it faster,
can I cause problems for myself by doing this?

2) Doing a scan disk with ME on drive C: I had an error
for create Vs. modified date/time on file IR41_QC.DLL and
IR41_QCX.DLL where create was than modified. I let the
ME scan do a fix and afterwards saw that the date/times
did not change but subsequent scans show no error.
The IR41's are Inter Video/Windvd compression apps. I
have trouble with DVD recognition in both XP and ME but
have always had the problem & have been searching for a
reason.
I sequenced System lib by modified date and noted that
only QuickTime files resulting from a Quick Time install
had same create date/time.

Defragmentation is a "good" thing, it doesn't cause problems, it helps
prevent them.

Is there a question here?
