l_intl.nls file corrupted on XP Home

l_intl.nls file on XP Home

XP home will not boot.

Dell Dimension 3000, 80 Gig HD, 2 Gig RAM Chips.

Error message: l_intl.nls is missing or corrupted.

Restarted into Recovery Console and expanded a new file.

Restarted just fine for about 2 reboots and now same message.

What causes the language file : l_intl.nls to become corrupted?

What would you do ?

Thanks From The French Quarter
