Concernint MS Visual C++ Versions

I have 2 versions of MS Visual C++ Runtime on my system:

- MS Visual C++ 2008, loaded with Visual Express 2008

- MS Visual C++ 2010, loaded when I became aware of the updated
version

Can there be a problem running two versions of C++ Runtime on a single
system?

I ask because the game Skyrim occasionally crashes (not responding)
and I notice that C++ Runtime module is running (not crashed).

Thanks for your reply.
