How do I combine partitions?

I upgraded from win98se to XP. I have two hard drives - the master had four partions c,d,e, and f. The second hard drive had one partition - g. During set-up, I deleted partitions d,e, and f and installed XP in C. These old partions now show as unallocated space. How can I expand c to take advantage of the unallocated space? In other words, I want all of the disk space on the master HD as drive c. After the upgrade, the second hard drive is correctly shown as a logical drive d. Thanks... For merging two partitions or one partition and an unallocated space into a bigger partition, you should choose a 3rd part software cause the built in disk management does a mess, i recommend u to use http://www.disk-partition.com/download.html this partition assistant, very useful and simple |

When he comes out of it he will discover that all drives including SSD are so cheap he can shuffle hower he pleases. -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa Canada) |
