regedit script not binary
 
Maybe it is because I removed the top line, maybe it is because there are
some binaty codes that appear at the end of each line like boxes in nitepad
and somehow emacs removed them???

Else, it looked fine.

ALso, do you have to reboot to take effect?

Yeah, maybe it is. Have you already tried what happens when you do *not*
remove that line ? If not, why ?

ALso, do you have to reboot to take effect?


Same answer. Why didn't you just test ? Change it and check if the
program responds differently, than reboot and check again.

But the answer is : It depends on the kind of data and the program/software
the data is for.
