xp sp2 send fax
 

Windows xp Pro sp2
Send Fax wizard is not working.
It failes after the last window in the wizard (no Preview and "Finish" does
nothing)
Fax configured to send only
When configured to receive and send it will receive ok but not send.
Tried to send fax from a windows application and got the same failed result
The fax monitor does not come up and modem does not dial out in send
I tried The Hyperlink terminal and it dials out OK

I have no answer to your question.
We used to use Symantec WinFax on our Windows XP (with SP1) workstations.
When we bought new machines with SP2, Winfax stopped to work to to some
security stuff in SP2. Our IT administrator did something like including
WinFax in some list of allowed applications.
Maybe something related to security is happening to you?

While working with the fax wizard, did you happen to set up contacts in the
address book side, if so can you help with how to delete contacts out of the
Windows fax address book.????
