trouble with Mouse Suite 98 Daemon and Remote Connection
 

I have Windows XP on my home and work computers. I use the Windows VPN client to establish a connection from home to work. If I then use PC Anywhere, I have no problems accessing my work PC. However, if I use Remote Desktop Connection, as soon as I log into my work PC, it freezes with a Mouse Suite 98 Daemon error. I am unable to do anything at that point. In fact it often takes multiple attempts to do a hard shutdown on the work PC when I return to the office.

I have checked my home msconfig on my home PC an do not see pelmiced.exe (Mouse Suite 98 Daemon).

Do I check the same place on my work PC? How do I stop this from running?

Please help!
