No icons or taskbar
All of a sudden when I reboot xp I get no icons or taskbar. The wallpaper
comes up then nothing else happens. I can boot up in safe mode and see all the icons. I am running xp sp3 with the latest updates on a quad core Dell with two monitors. Before I rebooted everything was working fine. I tried doing a system restore back a couple days with the same result. Any ideas? Thanks, Rick |

Just power it off (long button press) and reboot, and eventually it comes up right. It looks like a software race or something that amounts to a bug, but whose bug I don't know. -- On the internet, nobody knows you're a jerk. |
