Homegroup question
Windows 8.1 on both computers
When you have two computers in the same Homegroup, with both computers having a folder of the same name and content, does the Homegroup function synchronize these folders when both computer are on? I have two computers that I keep synchronized with Syncback Free. I have been trying to clean up some Folders by deleting some files and placing other files into other Folders. Lately it seems like some of the files I delete are coming back even though I have not run Syncback Free between the time I made the changes and the time I noticed that files were back. |

No What if you are using the Windows Backup utility to back up one computer of the Homegroup to an external disk? Do you happen to have skydrive or dropbox installed on the machines? You can also review this: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...mation-in-sync I believe Windows 8.1 comes with One drive, but I have not activated it. It looks like I need to dig deeper into both computers to understand what is going on. The homegroup was the only thing I could think of that was doing the sync, but from what has been said that is not what is doing it. Thank |
