Currently configured authentication provider? XP documentation?

Still no resolution to how can I set the Remote Access "currently configured
authentication provider". The closest I've been able to find is some
references to Windows 2000 Internet Authentication Service(IAS). One would
think Microsoft would have this documented somewhere. I found the same two
error message on a German site but unfortunately I can't read German so I
don't know if they were ever resolved.

Remote Access:

Authentication provider failed

The currently configured authentication provider failed to load
and initialize successfully.

The specified procedure could not be found.

Service Control Manager:

The Routing and Remote Access service terminated with service-
specific error 127 (0x7F).

Currently configured authentication provider? XP documentation?

Hello

Well to be honest in Windows 2000 you have two options, you can set to
permit windows authentication or Radius, there really are no other options
adn you can select these under RRAS console and right click on the server
and select the security tab, if this is not what you are looking for then I
am sorry I misunderstood the question. I would expect that Radius is
selected from the description of the error and yet you have not configured
the system to contact the Radius server (for Windows 2000 this is IAS)
Please let me know.
