at least it's not BRIGHT BLUE on BLINDING WHITE.

But it's still 2D FLATTY FLUGLY FLATSO. Like win-10-nic.

and the COLOR CHOICES are HARD TO READ. light grey on lighter grey?
WHAT the *FEEL*??? And those subtle grey-tone color differences to
highlight a 'box' around something is *HARD* *ON* *THE* *EYES*.

I think I prefer the way VS 2010 looked. Well, ACTUALLY, I liked VS '98
the best, for usability and whatnot. But the lack of 64-bit and newer
compiler features is why I can't use it...
