Turning Off Win Update Icon

My new clean install of slipstreamed sp2 has developed a red icon that, on
booting, gives me a message to turn on windows update, which I have to
close. I do my own maintenance, and need to stop it making me click it every
time I start windows.

Thanks.

Go to Control Panel/Security Center. In the left menu, select "Change the
way security center alerts me". Remove the check mark from the Windows
Update item.
