Got a call from 888-332-9444 claiming that our license had expired and inviting us to renew. That's been around a while. A recent variation on it is you get a call claiming that the "Microsoft Refund Department" has money for you. Of course when you call they try to tell you your license has actually expired and you need to pay them. I have a lot of fun with those guys when I have time to play. Sometimes they want to use TeamViewer to remote in and I have a Linux virtual machine set up for that purpose. It's loads of fun watching them try to run Windows commands in that environment and nothing works, they are totally clueless. When the call ends in them shouting a third-world curse from their ****hole country and hanging up I consider it a job well done. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Roger Blake (Posts from Google Groups killfiled due to excess spam.)
