HP DESKJET 720C

I use Windows XP and a HP Laserjet 720C. I ahare the
printer with another desktop at home via a switchbox. The
other desktop has a HP scanner (Scanjet 2300C).

I have a problem in which the 1st desktop (which is the
main one to use the printer), cannot receive a document
to print. The troubleshooter guide does not solve the
problem. I have checked all power connections, deleted
the printer and reloaded it but to no avail. I notice
that the document to be printed registers on the printer
queue as fully printed but does not print. Also it does
not show a "location" where the document is to be
printed from (i.e. the directory and document to be
printed.

any suggestions or advice as to how to fix this would be
appreciated.

Regards

Ken

Xp driver for this printer only gives basic functions. To get back
double sided printing and more you need to search for the program
FinePrint (www.fineprint.com).

If this is the only problem with this printer, you are lucky.
I'm looking for a XP driver for a very long time without success.
Please check also the printing of black item only and black items
togther with some colos ones. I think you will see the difference
In the first case the black is black; in the second case the black is
dark grey. The XP driver is NOT using correctly the black cartrdge.
The HP support said that they don't have a better driver and they know
the problem

About the two side printing' use the FinePrint program (www.fineprint.com).
It is very good.
